When you are looking for a printer for your home or office there are only two types of printer to consider:
- Ink-Jet Printer - usually better for home use
- - small and light
- - low initial cost
- - easy to maintain
- - good for colour print
- - slow print speed
- - ink cartridges are expensive - for some brands, it's better to refill or buy a new printer
- - supports different types of paper
- Laser Printer - usually better for office use
- - big and heavy
- - big initial cost
- - harder to maintain than the ink-jet printer
- - good for text and simple graphics but not for detail and colour rich images
- - very fast print speed
- - toner is more cost efficient than ink
- - toner leaks may cause a big mess
The best printer for home use in my opinion
If you are not printing a lot of files at the time, the ink-jet printer is probably better for you. My personal choice is this EPSON primarily because of the low cost of ink cartridges.

- - Wi-Fi

- - double-sided printing
- - automatic document feeder (30 sheets)
- Disadvantages:
- - noisy when printing

- - made of cheap plastic
- - automatic feeder sometimes refuse to work until you change the paper config in the settings
- - USB cable not included
The best printer for office use in my opinion
This SAMSUNG printer is not printing in colour but this was what I needed for my home office.
If you are printing a lot of files at the time and don't need colour print this is probably the best printer for your office or home.

- - very good text print quality
- - very fast print speed

- Disadvantages:
- - no colour print
- - large
- - only A4 paper size
